Joyeux Noël

George slept well and didn’t get up until 7.30, which I thought was very civilised for an excited six year old.

We did the opening of presents and a quick breakfast then set off for No.1 Daughter’s, making great progress on the motorway and even managing a very brief meet-up with my brother and two nephews, who were making their way North.

George and I had a fab day, eating the most delicious food and being very spoilt.
