Heavy rain overnight did quite a lot of damage to the open sweet peas, fortunately there are still plenty coming on like this Bridget McAleer a superb rich mauve sweet pea introduced five or six years ago in Ireland. The 2014 sweet pea seed catalogue arrived this morning - with 1,300 varieties to choose from its my bath time reading for a few weeks.
