Year Of The Snake

The day started with a ridiculous road diversion - to get to the hairdressers, 50 yards away, I had to travel over 8 miles! If I’d known, I would have abandoned the car and walked.

Luckily it was still sunny when I came out of the salon, so I went for a wander around Biddulph Grange NT.

There wasn’t much in the way of flowers to look at but it was a hive of activity, with volunteers clearing debris and washing down paintwork.
