It's asparagus season, pretty much the only time of year we buy it, so we enjoy it while it's available. This year, it has become more expensive, by quite a step - I'm sure it was about £4 each, or 2 for £7 last season. The Deli in town has more local aspargus, from the Isle of Wight, but it costs more - £5.50 a bunch ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
