Glorious day
Bertie and I started the day with a most enjoyable walk around Quinish, apart from the horrendous number of ticks that hitched a lift on Bertie’s long coat. I had to keep checking him as we walked along and at one point he had ticks from nose to tail, covering his head and back, after walking under some overhanging grass. Nick gave him a bath when we arrived home which I think was a good move.
P and A came round for a chat and a coffee, along with their two Shelties, the lovely Lucy and wee Hallie. Bertie was very happy to see them as we all sat in the garden and enjoyed the sunshine.
I spent much of the afternoon in the garden, trying to get things in order before I leave it for a month, although it was a bit too warm for me.
The extra shows a couple of lovely creatures who watched Bertie and I as we walked by through the woods in the morning.
