Juvenile Robin

A bright and sunny day, but a wee bit cooler than yesterday. A cool ne breze bringiing cool air straight off the North Sea. Normally when this happens, the whole east coast ends up covered in haar and several degrees below west coast towns. But no haar, a bit of low cloud and loads of sunshine. A nice morning walk in the sunshine. Very quiet.

After work, partner and I head out for a walk. Walking past the remains of a bush, a young bird sits on a wee branch. It stays still long enough for me to get a decent photo. On the way home, it is nice enough to sit outside for a few minutes, in a quiet park, and listen to the birdsong. We are protected from the cold wind by a high hedge, it feels very pleasant indeed.

Middle of week which means it is Wine Wednesday.
