Terns and Eider Ducks …

… were on the birding menu today, with several sightings of Greylag Geese, flying in formation overhead, at the Steninge Nature Reserve. It was wonderful to watch the Eider ducklings (extra) swimming in heavy seas and diving underwater just like their Mum! However it was the graceful Terns that I enjoyed watching the most, plunging beak first, into the water. 


We are having sunny weather but it is oh so windy! Not conducive to our early morning dip in the sea!
