Sheilah's snaps

Nelson Street, L1

Got the train into Liverpool this afternoon with no particular destination in mind apart from seeing something of the Biennial.
Started at the Black-E (who knew that the architectural history of Catholic Modernist churches could be so captivating!)
Then Pine Court (exploring the construction of East and Southeast Asian identity within Western contexts).
Then Berry Street and Eurochemist (easy to miss if you're not looking carefully).
Ended up at Fact. Ran out of time to see Biennial exhibition but loved Amartey Golding's solo exhibition, which 'marks the conclusion of FACT's multi-year Resolution project, which explores how art can affect public attitudes and influence decision-making in the justice system'
