... Gilbert entered a competition to win a brass band for a year. He won. After three and a half weeks he was regretting it, they followed him everywhere, day and night. To make matters worse they only knew two tunes, the Florentiner March and the Floral Dance.

Yes it is the run up to Gala season! Hurrah. Linlithgow Marches on Tuesday, Bo'ness Childrens Fair towards the end of the month. Royal Highland Show this week too. Gonna be a blipfest.
