And...relax.
Set out for the north with sufficient time to spare that we were able to call in at the Highland Wildlife Park for a couple of hours. It was very hot, and most of the animals were asleep. The main blip is one of the macaques just chillin', then in the extras a heap of snoozing wolves (there are four of them), a lynx (one of the three that were rescued when abandoned back in January) and a forest reindeer delicately nibbling some aspen. The wildcats were all fast asleep.
We got to North Kessock shortly after 5 pm and after we'd eaten P drove us up to Rosemarkie so that we could walk along to Chanonry Point and look at people not seeing any dolphins. That's the last extra - looking across to Fort George.....
