RIP Joyce Ainsworth

Dad, Jane, Sarah and I went today to Joyce Ainsworth's funeral in Bedford.  She died unexpectedly and would have been 90 in July.  

Joyce married my Dad's cousin Geoff and they had two children the same ages as my sisters and I, Alison and Caroline.  

We loved the Ainsworth family and were today reminiscing the happy memories of many-a-Christmas-in-Oldham where we always spent a good proportion of the holidays.  Theirs was a very happy family, with lots of animals, games, warmth,  laughter and (at Christmas) a snowman filled with sweets...
