Henry's On Watch!

It's been a wonderful day today, starting with a drive through the countryside to the village of Toodyay in the Avon Valley.  The main reason for the drive was to meet some of my old Methodist Ladies College school friends for a catch up lunch.  One of my friends Sue and her husband Gary have a wonderful farm in Toodyay and it was just great to spend time with them.  Henry the Rooster is the very handsome head of the Hennie Hilton and he was definitely keen to be noticed so I crept into the coop and snapped him :).  It was great to see everyone and to be able to introduce them all to Mauzee.  I think we all know what country folk hospitality is like and Sue definitely didn't disappoint.  A scrumptious lunch, lots of chatter and certainly lots of laughter.  Very good for the soul all round.
