Is it Going to Rain…?

… Inevitably I think. But when the sun is shining we’re all making hay. There’s a very tempting waft of barbecue in the air (even for a vegetarian!).

I was going to go into town (there’s lots going on today) but in the end I had a two- cup-of-tea catch up with my oldest friend on the phone. There’s such a joy in old friends. (And you know you can never fall out, because you both know too much…).

It was too hot to walk anywhere anyway.
