Haar, haar.
The summer solstice was celebrated in Leith by a heavy haar that lingered for most of the day - so no sunshine. Meant the gardening chores were easier than yesterday, due to not bucketing sweat. Amid my toilings I was delighted to see this delicate little flower which has appeared from goodness knows where - without checking I think it's flax, but haven't knowingly sown any. So pretty.
The extra was a sad sight that greeted me as I turned into Prospect Bank Road - a very dead crow, probably young (look at that grey fluff down the chest). Probably hit by a car. Could very well be the same stupid boy who I rescued yesterday. Well, if so, his life was short but definitely not boring.
