Flicks again today!

28 Years Later.   Jaysus. I was scared after the trailers for similarly and worse scary films 

It was just lovely seeing Lindisfarne ... Made me look forward to visiting again

Flicks... There was a nightclub in kilwinning called flicks.  It burned down in 'mysterious' circumstances 

My friend I and went there one night for a gig.  Big Country ... We were 17.  Got the bus over. Went to a pub on the corner. Oooh err missus. This was the toughest pub we had ever been in by miles 

I can't tell you what the pool table was being used for ... But it wasn't pool 

The concert was brilliant.  The neighbours complained about the noise (it was a small place and there were residences nearby ). 

The police arrived. Said they wanted to shut it down ... And Stuart shouted for another encore and sung ten times louder than ever.  I thought my heart was going to burst with joy 

Then it was over and my dad was waiting outside and took us home 

A few days later my mate came into work and gave me a 8 x 5 photo of Stuart on stage.   I must go thru the boxes and try and find one of them 

It was a good night
