Riccarton Mains Road, Currie

It felt hot, too hot, hottest day of the year so far.  Went for a wander in the shade by the river with S, but then he had an errand that took us up to the main road. As we had to wait we bought ice cream and found a warm bench to sit on and enjoy it. Returned to the garden and sat in the shade for a while.
