Farewell snap

Goodbye to our holiday retreat, 4 nights , 3 days out and 3 pub lunches. We walked across unusual chalky countryside from the car park near the library in Pulborough just as far as the river Arun then pub lunches in the Stonemason’s Arms in Petworth then a visit to the Turner exhibition in the servants’ quarters and a walk through the rooms of the house. The second day Hardham church, lovely lunch at the Squire and Horse in Bury then Bognor Roman Villa and on the way home Charlie’s eye watering ku expensive farm shop. The and especially the pork pie we bought were worth it however. The last day was Parham House garden. I definitely want to return and see the house as well as revisit the lovingly kept garden.
