River of Flowers

Saturday: Buddleia

Another windy start to the day, with very light rain and feeling quite warm … wind continued all day :-((

Made a large pan of Prawn Tikka Masala, adding chickpeas, assorted peppers, red onions, coconut milk and some greens from the garden - baby leaves of Cavollo Nero and the very prolific Broccoli from Thomas Etty, which might be “Mr Curtis’s Nine Star Perennial Broccoli” - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2909912242566727332

Watched Lewis Capaldi at Glastonbury on iPlayer - https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m002f21b  and the beginning of “1975”

MrD and I sampled the cherries from our tree, they are delicious - this is the first time we’ve actually seen ripe fruit, in previous years the blackbirds have picked them as soon as they change colour, I don’t begrudge them and definitely don’t blame them when the fruit tastes so delicious :-))

The Buddleia flowers are just beginning to open, but the wind is no good for butterflies or any of our bees and other pollinators - the wind is also getting on my nerves and makes me very tired :-((  … looks like the wind is here for the next week or so  … double drat :-((

Loads of love and hugs to all my family / Cariad Mawr
