Lilies

Today's the day ..................... for the exotic

The lilies have all decided to open up at the same time - and they make a tremendous show.

And considering they have all come from a couple of packets that I couldn't resist in a supermarket because they were reduced to half price, not long after we came to live here - they've done very well.  They require absolutely no attention whatsoever.  They appear, as if by magic, every spring and grow into quite tall stems - each with three flowers on them.

And their exotic scent fills the air around them ..........................
