Can you guess?

Our residents’ association’s garden group invited everyone to come along to a member’s hose with a 6/8 inch pot. Compost was provided and an organic ginger root which was planted as shown with two nodules showing. It was slow to start but the nodules thickened up and eventually produced a tiny shoot. The shoot has grown 6 inches plus in the same number of days and has sprouted a leaf. Very exciting. In September we are to meet with our pots which should be full of root to receive recipes and compare progress.
I am hoping another nodule will do something too.
