ME OLD COCK LINNET*

I darted out between showers, as I thought, but still managed to get caught out twice in a very short time. However, a flash of red turned out to be this splendid male linnet in full summer plumage. The wind was so strong that it was quite hard to hold the camera still with the lens on full zoom.
