These are a few...

..of my favourite things - books, birds and blooms! (Two more library books to add to the pile waiting my attention!) 

It was a very lovely day weather-wise. The heat was not oppressive, so that made it comfortable enough to wander around the garden and to sit on the deck watching the birds; hence, all these photos! 

I have a question though - one of the house finches (extra) is looking pretty dreadful these days and I am hoping it is a normal molting issue - but it is out of season and very drastic. I do hope it is not life-threatening. Does anyone know what this could be? It is so sad to see.  

Tomorrow will be a fun day as Shawn is bringing one of his workers to help him transplant and also add some new plants to the back garden. I look forward to seeing the results...This gardening project has been quite an adventure!
