Paklenica National Park

Trip to Paklenica today, a national park that is made of two impressive gorges. Home to many different species of plants, birds and animals - including bears, which we didn’t see. There were hundreds of butterflies on show, particularly Swallowtails which are very pretty. There was also a fascinating underground visitor centre built in the bunkers carved out under Josip Tito. Very good day out!
