Lights, Camera……

It was my Writing Group meeting this morning but unfortunately a few members are in hospital and others were on holiday. I had a look around the shops instead and then spent the rest of the morning planting up my vegetable seedlings in the greenhouse. Out for a walk in the hills with the Curry Club girls this afternoon (my friend Kate got back from cycling in Europe at the weekend). In the evening,, thechimp and thebear picked me and Mr P up to go into Edinburgh to the QMU student film awards. We all had a meal in a nearby Lebanese restaurant with our friend and
ex-colleague, Walid, before the event. The actress Ashley Jensen was the guest of honour (she’s a QMU alumni and is getting an honorary degree tomorrow at the Graduation ceremony). I met her briefly after the screening. A lovely lady and a very talented actress.
