Krka National Park

Another glorious day and today we visited Krka National Park which is famous for an amazing canyon filled with waterfalls. There is also a profusion of bird, animal and plant life. There were hundreds of dragon flies of different varieties and I was lucky enough to get this photo.

We also climbed 580 steps, which was no mean feat to visit a cave that is now occupied by bats but has evidence of human occupation dating back to the early Neolithic.
