Less And Less

The famous tree on the Buttermere Lake shoreline is looking very sad these days. Even though it has lost just about all its branches, its trunk survives everything nature throws at it. I’m lucky enough to have a framed photo of it on its prime, both in my lounge at home and in the caravan. Fleetwith Pike and Haystacks are the two fell at the top of the Lake.
Took the photo, and lots of others, on an evening visit. It was just too hot to do anything during the day.
