Well dressing…

… At St Ann’s in Buxton. The Carnival will be on Saturday. I haven’t ascertained why this picture is featured. There are other dressed wells in town too, and one is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Toy Story… If there is a connection between that and this I haven’t twigged it (and I’m a fan of Victoria Coren Mitchell).

We have been concerned that the Robin hasn’t been around for a day and a half..
But this evening it’s back.
We breathed a huge sigh of relief and are pleased that it seems less ‘tame’. We are resolving not to feed it from our hands now, as it seems to have made the break. (We want to bring up all the children to be independent… ).
It will be hard though, especially if it comes and sits on us as it has been doing.
I’ll keep you posted. (The red feathers are really in evidence now).
