Snorkelled
Woke to the sound of seagulls at our park up by the sea. Lovely sunshine so after a quick breakfast we walked up to St Abbs Head. Lots of sea birds still on the nests up there and chicks getting ready to fly the nest.
Back at St Abbs harbour we pulled in our wetsuits, masks and snorkels and floated around in the sea. It was a bit murky but we were able to see a few fish, sea urchins, sea weeds, anemones and little comb jellies with flashing lights.
Spent the rest of the afternoon watching a group of divers faffing around with their kit and finally get in the sea for a dive round the Seagull Rock. Lots to entertain us!
