Rolled Oats

Ok, probably not oats.

It's been so hot today, low thirties Celsius, and so we got in a morning walk before the heat hit and an evening walk as it began to subside (it's still 24ºC at quarter to eleven). I took this shot on the evening walk but I've swapped out the blank evening sky. Cheating? Why, yes. Absolutely.

In the middle of the day I managed to get most of the walls and ceiling done in the stairs and landing, so we're on course for a scheduled carpet rip out, when I can do the glasswork, and a new stair carpet (yay, we decided on a colour!) in late August.

Janet's walking around her garden, mourning the likely loss of a plant here, a shrub there... but if she's now more conscious of the watering, can I sneak in a quick pre-bed shower? I really need one. lol
