Dahlia

This was from last year, I thought it was dead but suddenly  I saw a green shoot and so kept it watered and hence a pretty Dahlia.

Hasn't it been hot today, I have to say although we did a shady as possible dog walk, did some washing and then made a veg hot pot for tea, I have done very little today. played card games on my phone, read my book and watched some Tennis. It was cooler inside than out. Tanzy laid on the concrete in the shade and Misty has found under the bushes is the coolest place, She did come in at 7.30 all on her own tonight.

Kirsty messaged me that Jess had eaten a wasp so she took her to the vet who gave her an injection and 4 days of antihistamines  £35.91  

Another hot one tomorrow they say.
