A long day

I woke at 4.39am, absolutely cooking and looking unbelievably like daylight. I took this picture as evidence of the time, I wasn’t dreaming it. 

I’ve been meaning to take a picture before the farmer arrives in the field with his harvester and causes mayhem. 

We went down to the leisure centre at 9am and enjoyed the air conditioning. Home for B to shower and for me have a rest before going back to do the shopping. 

The day just got hotter and hotter so very little has been done. 

I’ve watched Wimbledon and I’m now watching Live Aid. I would have seen it on TV in 1985, but didn’t remember the artists being quite so young looking. I do remember the words to the music. 

What I do remember more clearly is Brotherhood of Man singing ‘Save your kisses for me’, wining the Eurovision Song Contest in1976. It appeared on the TV recently, no idea why, and I’ve been singing and dancing to the music ever since. I keep playing it on my phone to entertain myself !!!

Ps at 8.30pm today the Beach Boys are playing good vibrations recorded in 1985, but first issued in 1966.

I bet there are a few blippers raking through the memory bank if they are watching.
