Newark Park Classic Cars

Billed as the Austin 7 Owners Club Rally, there were lots more than simply sevens. It was hot, and so we didn't stay too long, but this shot of Newark Park with its golden wyvern weathercock is fronted by a (I think) 1926 Alvis 12/50 boat-tailed speedster and a handful of other classics.

The heat wave is apparently forecast to end tomorrow. I'm not convinced, but I'm willing, very willing, to be surprised by a drop or two of rain and more sensible temperatures. Now, do I get some miles on Morrigan before it gets too cold? ;-) Of course I do.

Well ok, perhaps I don't... the electricity supply is up and down like the proverbial 'ores drawers, and it's too damned hot to crank the garage door. Later then...
