Alès

We went back to Alès, this morning, setting off a little earlier than last week to afford ourselves more time to walk around the shops before returning to the indoor market. 

Having bought some food for tomorrow evening, we found a street café for some breakfast and coffee. Sheltered from the sun by a large umbrella, but enjoying the open air, it was a perfect end to our morning. 

We spent the afternoon back at the house and then in the evening we went out to a nearby Italian restaurant called Dolce Vita. It reminded me of La Rocca, in Chorley, actually: a family-run vibe, with no frills, and good food. Popular, too!
