BACK BLIP #2


It was raining when we woke this morning and it rained all day!

Road works from recent damaging rains and floods and very wet conditions were with us all day as we travelled down the East Coast of NZ to Christchurch, meeting family flying in from Wellington as Marcus, my grandson was competing in a gymnastics competition over the weekend.

This side of the South Island of NZ follows the coast for part of the way. The sea can be wild and windy, other times it is very restrained.
Lunch was at the seaside town of Kaikoura.
