Soggy Triffid

Oh my, what a change... so welcome and so needed but I'm fine now and can we have the Sun back please... Lol.

As the image suggests, the light is almost gone, the Tiny Tuesday options are limited by the absence of anything except Janet - yes, of course she's out in the rain gardening in the now slightly easier to dig soil...

The rest of the day has been taken up with clever-charging the flat camper van battery (and they said it was fried!) and restoring it into the van, alongside replacing the leisure battery with a new one (that one was totally cooked - thermal runaway evident).

Happily, A Bristol battery company proved to be less than half the price of the local motor accessories shop that begins with Hal and has a car name in it... Drove down, picked it up, fitted it in half an hour.

Less happily, we found out the lend car we were going to use in France got pranged the other night and is not repairable, so what I saved on the batteries went on a hire car. Ah well, no-one was injured.

And now it might still be raining but there's never a bad time for a wet walk...
