Just a quick one before the rain

The Rose of Sharon is flowering again after it was cut back harshly when we did the wall.

Today it rained from mid morning and was quite heavy at times. we did get our shopping  and the dog walk done before it started, The cat was not amused, she doesn't like rain she retired to the greenhouse, we leave the door open enough for her to get in and she sleeps on the chair on top of some greenhouse shading we didn't use.

We have devised a method for watering the hanging baskets, Paula climbs the stepladder (her idea) as she is much more steady than I am, and I hand her  plastic milk cartons (4 pint size ones) with water in for her to water them with. I think it will work,  one container should be more than enough for each.
