Concert

Yay! It's the weekend!

Reesey came first thing and started on the skirting and the railings. He was going to need a few hours to get through it, but he had to stop halfway to take his wife to the airport. We had to leave to drive to Bromley for rachelwhynot's end-of-season concert! We got treated to a homemade lasagna first. We ate it in the garden, under a large canopy. It was cooler outside in the shade than inside.

It was great to finally see where Eileen goes for choir practice every Friday. They had a lovely selection of songs for the concert and went through them with great gusto. My extra shows the other "Friends of Eileen" from whom a special table was booked. G took the photograph.

We drove home on a quiet Saturday night, and a route I am pretty sure I've never been on before. It was cold! We should have stayed over, but there is an important church meeting in Wonersh tomorrow that we would like to be at.
