Tattoo Tuesday

I can't believe that after 53 years of adulthood, that wife Lisa wants to get a tattoo. AND...she wants me to join her!

She seems to be thinking...
something in red or in blue.
I seem to be thinking...
"WHAT HAS GOT INTO YOU?"

I wonder if she is having...
a middle-age rut,
because she wants to get...
half-hearts on our butts!

She wants to move quickly,
get it done within weeks,
But I'm not sure I'm ready...
for ink on our cheeks!

I'll have to put my foot down,
go on one of my rants.
"I DO NOT WANT THE INK!
I WILL NOT DROP MY PANTS!"

I hope you didn't believe any of this. We went to the Flint Institute of Arts to see Michigan Ink, a tribute to Michigan tattoo artists. When Lisa reads this later, she will regret posing for me.

As for getting a real tattoo,
these words come out of my mouth.
"I'm afraid if I got one at my advanced age...
the ink...it would just venture South."
