Baking

Shade was what we kept seeking out today or even better air conditioning! 31° and high humidity. We met Joe for breakfast and then took the funicular up to Montjuïc. Great views and one of son no 1’s favourite spots in Barcelona. We walked up (not a pleasant experience) and then took the cable car down (so much better). We sought out air conditioning in the Catalan Museum and the Corte Ingles. We enjoyed lunch from the rooftop restaurant, while overlooking the city. Back to our hostel for our bags (somehow we managed to fit in all of son no 3’s extra stuff) and then took a taxi to the airport. Waiting to board now. Next stop Edinburgh. Won’t be home until the early hours. Looking forward to some cooler weather!
