Murder Melon

Starters for our 1970s Murder Mystery. Mostly melon but a couple went for the fruit juice option.  

If ever there was a restaurant scam it was presenting 'fruit juice' as a meaningful starter course.  That said, with the ensuing roast chicken, Black Forest gateaux, cheese & biscuits, etc. a filling starter wasn't really necessary.

It's a lovely group that are here for the murder.  A mix of old hands, newcomers, and one regular boardgaming couple that are dipping into the murder weekend to mark a birthday & anniversary.
