Alden Mason 1919-2013. Mason taught painting at the University of Washington for over 30 years. Much of his work features loose, abstracted figures with foreground and background melding. His work is in dozens of US Museum and University collections. He was one of KB’s teachers and was prolific and memorable. Glad to have this. NannaK (HCB)
