Dry Gardening
Carrots, beetroot and courgettes from the allotment. I popped down in the heat of the day to prune the plum trees and water the plants. The shallots are now ready to be pulled up and dried but the garlic has been a disaster this year. The bulbs are tiny. The potatoes are plentiful and tasty despite the lack of water.
I felt lethargic today. I think it’s because I’m not sleeping well because of the warmth in the bedroom at night. Our relatively new house has been designed to retain heat rather than stay cool. Anyway I went to a gentle and relaxing yoga class late this afternoon and returned feeling much better.
An early night listening to my audiobook accompanied for a while by the fan and Merlin.
