Welcome rain.

An overcast day with several bursts of rain. Fortunately it was dry when I walked to the monthly Charity Lunch. £85 was raised towards new awnings for the village school. Apparently the heat has been unbearable in some classrooms and blinds and awnings are needed and will be installed during the holidays. Very warm and muggy despite the rain.
