It was certainly a most enjoyable and fabulous day, the parade drill was spot on, they could have been the Queens (now Kings I suppose) Colour Squadron, which is the drill team from the RAF Regiment.
So many incredibly proud parents, grandparents, friends and other family relations, in two stands.
I added the cover of the parade booklet as an extra, really interesting reading.
They were all so smart, and the sword drill was very impressive.
The ceremony brought back memories for me too, but that was back in April 1966 when my passing out parade was. I've added an extra one of me with my Mum and Dad, yes, I really was that skinny, must have been all of that running over, back, and over again of all those grass covered hangars at RAF Cosford!
