I thought today might be best for shopping . . . worst weather of the rest of the week according to the forecast I saw yesterday. I might have got it wrong.

I was too late for the early traffic slot but too early for the late one. I avoid 8.15 to 9.00 in Kendal. As the sun was shining, rather than sit at home I took the camera and went to Waterhead. Nothing exciting there so moved on to Bowness and ended up with a bollard, similar to what I might have blipped in Sainsbury’s car park! 

It was hot in the car driving home so I’m pleased I remembered the cool box and ice packs. 

After lunch a lazy few hours before I needed to start some prep for this evening’s meal.
