Tollie hill view

Met blip royalty to hand over his jarred honey and a quick chat.

My pal came over and we headed to the mining museum for exhibition on pitches to pits about mining and football. It starts tomorrow. Tea and scone then we headed to the Fife mining communities for a tour of my pals childhood.

First stop a wee summit with 30 metre promince in Lochgelly,  the water tower by Lochgelly albert ground. Next to little Moscow via gargarin way (Lumphinans) for another 30 metre promince which was tollie hill.

A cracking we walk ,picking and eating  raspberries. Great views from the summit of the old mining areas. On the way down we met a dog walker from Glencraig, my pal had a blether about families from the area.

Next to Glencraig to the monument to Peter Johnstone,  a pit boy who realised his dream to play professional football at celtic but sadly died in ww1.

More old pits and then home.

And Indian carry out with family.

Plans made for more 30 metre prominence hills and of course return to mining museum.

Dogs walked with ladies.
