Big sunflower

My mother-in-law has some dwarf sunflowers in her garden - they are about a metre tall with similarly proportioned flowers. This is your more typical big sunflower with a massive flower head. I tried to photograph it yesterday but the light wasn't good enough for the shot - today was much better.

It was warm enough to need to take the water bottle with me on the dog walk and my furry friend drank all the water in the bottle, so it was good that I did bring water with me. As you can see from the sky it was pretty blue and filled with sunshine today - though not hot.
