Red Squirrel ( Sciurus vulgaris )

Apologies for yet another Red Squirrel shots!  We were just about ready to set off for the Lodge to prep it for the next guests, when there on the bird table was a time waster.  It seems to be the male that visited the other day.  Obviously shots had to be taken and given a choice between a wild flower and a squirrel the squirrel wins hands down.  It spent quite a while munching on a hazel nut.

The prepping of the lodge went smoothly and the comments in the visitors book were very complimentary given that they had been before and were promising to return.
