Feast Night

While MrRoly and The Boy went off to watch rugby, I cracked on with a bit of work and a lot of Scouty admin. A lot. Then a bit more sock knitting and then it was time to go out for a Feast Night at The Forest Garden.

The first one they’ve done and it was great - the food (lamb, buckwheat ‘risotto’, heritage courgette and green beans) was cooked over an open fire and we dined in the candlelit barn. Pudding was roasted peaches with strawberries, honeycomb and vegan cream (coconut I think). Frankly, it was all delicious and the setting was perfect, despite the weather turning.
