Art Gallery of Greater Victoria

My daughter and I visited the David Blackwood exhibition at the Victoria art gallery. Etchings and the subject is Newfoundland whaling, mummers, family, and hardship.

I first saw his work between 1979 and 1982 when I lived in Bowmanville and Cobourg, Ontario. I regularly visited the commercial art galleries in Toronto where I saw David Blackwood's prints. I like his work.
